Posted October 11, 2015 CCFD has 4 Towers at 11,16,17,18 and a 75' stick at T 22,they pulled the old aerial ladder out of Laughlin LVFR has 4 Towers and 2 TDAs Henderson has 2 Towers since they all work closely together, that looks like the equipment they will stay with CCFD gained another station, this one at Mt Charleston when they took over the NDF station across the road from Station 81 (vol) Went by there two weeks ago,the NDF station had two NDF type 3s in the bays and a CCFD Pierce Quantum on the apron, Lettered T 4 (must be a training engine ,reserve piece) (FF all were hired as full time CCFD firefighters) Not sure if CCFD will get to keep those two NDF Type 3s or order replacements Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Posted February 18, 2016 Update, as of yesterday, new Tower 18 still at CCFD shops awaiting more new equipment. Training on the new Tower 18 is starting on the unit while at the shops. This unit will have all NEW equipment, all the old equipment on the present T 18 will stay with the truck which will be a reserve unit at a station that has room to house it. Many new engines coming in from Pierce. Also a new tanker, and brush attack units now at the CCFD shops according to my source.
