    Howdy folks!
    For those who live in the North San Diego County cities.
    (Musta started today)
    Theres a new renumbering system for all FD units.
    Today I saw Oceanside Engine 213 (Formerly E2113) And Rescue Ambulance 211 (Formerly Medic 2191) on a medical call
    Don't know why the change.
    Thoughts anyone?

    Miami-Dade's HR is Bigger than the LAFD & LA County's HR.

    E141 instead of E1411?
    NorthComm must be changing their IDs is my theory.
    Seems the FDs in the county loved the red/black scheme.
    (see Oceanside,Carlsbad,Escondido, Pala FD)

    Oceanside Fire has something similar to EFDs new rig.
    (Its made by Pierce and its Attack 2160)
    Good for places a regular brush rig cant go in.
    Interesting what Unit # will be fer EFD.

    On the new SFFD rescues.
    The siren is Code 3 Screaming Eagle Mechanical siren. (sounds similar to the federal Q2B saw clips of em on YouTube)

    Total of 22 pumpers on order right now. The front-line engine fleet and most of the reserves will almost be identical by next year.

    ** I understand the new station is near the intersection of El Camino Real and Cannon Road. 
    ** A news release by the City of Carlsbad states the new station can house the department's ladder truck.  Wonder if that is the new location for the ladder (Is that still the 2007 Seagrave tiller?) coming from station 5's?

    Jumped a few numbers too 48, 49, & 50, hehe.
     
    Im surprised its not numbered 2's since the department shut the station back in 1971.
    (maybe in the future)
