Fire station #3 hosted area fire fighters, family, friends and municipal dignitaries for an opening ceremony that included the recognition of new fire fighters and a promotion within its ranks. Photography by Peggy Peattie/San Diego Union-Tribune @peggypeattie" ** I understand the new station is near the intersection of El Camino Real and Cannon Road. ** A news release by the City of Carlsbad states the new station can house the department's ladder truck. Posted March 3, 2016 I saw the station ceremony on the news. Looks really sweet. Dunno if T2275 will move to 3s As far as I know. 3s will house Engine,(2213) Medic,(2293) Brush rig.(2263) Nice pics of the OES Brush Rig & US&R 2290.
