Posted December 12, 2020 The new type-3 and will go to Fs16's as OES6308. The type-1 will go to Fs18's and will be OES410. That is new for San Miguel Fire-Rescue to get a type-3 rig from the State of California OES. Picture credit goes to the Facebook page for San Miguel Fire Protection District & San Miguel Firefighters. Wonder if Fs16's still hangs on to the older type-1 they've been using for a while? ~Rescue51 mesabill likes this

Posted January 30, 2021 I was looking at the numbering, if I was guessing the ID match the (A) location or region and (B) ICS type and (C) number assigned OES 6320: Region 6 , Type 3 engine #20 assigned Anyone interested in getting a statewide list together , PM me
Posted January 30, 2021 (edited) Also I herd rumors about OES doubling or tripling the number of engines to 300, perhaps 100 engines of type 1, 3, and 6? My information is kind of old but came from a source at OES, BMEs contract was for 25 Aherns FOX type 6 contract was for 81 Granted some engines are going to be replaced, but with the Type 3 and Type 6 engines, they are defiantly expanding the fleet Edited January 30, 2021 by e5911

Existing OES apparatus to be renumbered to comply with new system. No timeline for that that I am aware of. Additionally numerous Type-6 engines being placed into service. 5 going to ORC and 5 to San Francisco. Not sure on the rest.
