Posted April 20, 2020 SacMetro Fire District has 3 new Enforcer pumpers from Pierce. They usually have engines Quantum cabs and Federal Q2B Mechanical sirens. (From watching various YT Videos responding with lights & siren) . New engines doesnt have Q2B (EQ2B perhaps? HMM) Nice looking none the less.

They appear to be behind the bumper with an electronic style siren cover. Few departments have gone that route. Sac Metro I believe went from Dash, to some Velocity, to mainly Quantum, to now Enforcers for their Engines.
Posted April 21, 2020 Oh I see. San Jose (CA) Fire Dept is doing something similar to Sac Metro with their new Pierce Tiller trucks the Q2B siren is behind the bumper as well. I noticed watching YT videos that Seattle (WA) FD their engines & trucks has Q2B sirens but use EQ2B sirens instead of the Motorola Spectra Electric siren. (unless its a speaker with a Q Covering they use both sirens)
Posted April 23, 2020 The differences could be cost, and I notice the wheelbase is shorter than previous pumpers, maybe they have some access issues in the district or on Strike team assignments. Also just could be a tag on purchase but I don't think so. district is a bit big for that.
