Maricopa is close to getting a new Pierce Velocity 107’ Ascendant PUC.... BUT it was tabled until they hired a new financial advisor in hopes the contract would be renegotiated for a better price.
I did not speak to any chief buddy or hear rumors to obtain this information. Its a fact straight from public records

Phoenix needs replacement apparatus, replaced stations, new stations/companies, and about 20 new dispatchers before they can think about a helicopter!.

Here are Peoria's three new rescues (2018 Ford E-450/Demers Type III). These will be used to open two new Rescues (R-191 and R-192), replacing contracted ambulances. The third will go into rotation with the current three (R-193, R-195 + 1 in rotation), along with the other two new ones. So, Peoria will have four fulltime Fire-Medical Rescues (R-191 (Oldtown), 192 (Westbrook), 193 (Thunderbird/Midtown), 195 (North)), with contracted ambulances covering the other three (PMT-194 (Oldtown), PMT-196 (Vistancia) and PMT-199 (Lake Pleasant)).
