Yes,  my understanding is La Habra didn't want to pay for a fourth station any longer. 

I heard LAFD hasn't received approval from the county to operate these rigs.

In Santa Clarita doesn't matter what time as I've seen all types of apparatus responding no siren until they enter an intersection. 

Still no lower emergency lights on the rear of the box.

Blue lights have been removed.

No idea why, county also canceled the new Squad order as well.

Has anyone heard what manufacturer the new Dozer transport tractor will be? I hope they stay with Peterbilt and are they staying yellow or going red?

According to the 2022 Equipment purshase 2 Trucks. Hope not KME with the problems city had with the Engines.

A city FF told me a crazy rumor today. LAFD has an order with KME for tillers.

KME is not dispanding simply moving to centralize operations. County has 11 KME Engines on order as well. Rosenbauer  was the low bidder on the Quints.

Yes, E27 is in service as well as new T33.

I was told the Fire Fighters Bitched and complained about the color. So the decision to stay White was made.  A lot of FF like the Grey color but too  many complained.

T5 is in the Pierce and I believe 64's as well.

I'M surprised LAFD went with KME since they were not happy with the engines they bought.

Is Torrance discontinuing the Squads or addition too.

Old T7 Tower Ladder is in reserve for the next 5 years or so. Simply went with a straight stick on the new Pierce T7.

Los Angeles uses Tillers for many reasons. Carry more ground ladders and equip. Tradition and manage streets through out the city limits.

RA927 is also a 12 hour RA.

Why is LAFD using Fie 6 as a water dropping copter again? Is one of the others down for repairs or all hands on deck.

If i remember correctly, The Battalions such as B46 is the wildland BC. Numbers in the 40,s are special divisions.

Are Federal Q sirens going to be added like E55 has one

My understanding is if the airport buys or helps with the payment of such apparatus. Lime Yellow is the color to be at an International airport. If the dept buys their own apparatus then red or any color they choose. Example: Ontario International is now operated by Ontario FD. Red is the color on the ARFF trucks as they own the apparatus.
