Posted August 10, 2013 Yes. The new foam unit is quartered at Station 45 in Mission Valley, which if you think about it is a good location given its proximity to the tank farms. Over the years the few working fires the foam rig has responded to have been right there on Friars Rd or close to it. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Posted February 5, 2016 OK so now that 45 is in a real station did foam 45 move or is it still at 45s. I have seen some picture of the station and i know that Batt 4 is ther along with eng and truck 45 and Hazmat task force. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Posted February 6, 2016 Foam rig is still at Station 28 patked in the bay CR28 used to use. CR28 is parked out back. At least that is the status today. Subject to change as always. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Posted February 7, 2016 Is Crash 28 still operational? That is an old ARFF/CFR rig for Montgomery Airport. Though albeit, rarely do they need to deploy it there (but as with all ARFF's--it's like paying for insurance for that big one). Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
