Posted December 28, 2019 https://mcfpdnv.org/about-mcfpd/equipment/ Just curious, does E2853 not have any lights on top? This seems kind of odd/illegal.
Posted December 28, 2019 Looks like they had LED light where the normal light bar would be. They've got the side warning down on bumper. Yes, not as much recognition with that set-up, but don't think anything is illegal.
Posted December 28, 2019 (edited) It would appear the lights are mounted into the brow above the windshield. Steve Edited December 28, 2019 by SKFD_Chf1900 Mesquite5010 likes this
Posted December 30, 2019 (edited) Engine 853 has been modified to fit through the 10' bay door of the station. A very tight fit. Edited December 30, 2019 by engine98 Rescue51 likes this
Posted December 30, 2019 The Engine at the Volunteer house also had some modifications done to fit through the bay door. Rescue51 likes this
Posted January 1, 2020 Any decent manufacture will only build to NFPA without mound of paperwork releasing them from liability. If the engine has a issue fitting, they will re-engineer to meet the requirement for 360degree warning specified. The new squads for the rural side are also set up with no light bar per se,
Posted January 1, 2020 (edited) A 2007 photo of the Mount Charleston station when still part of the CCVFD. The Pierce Engine was sold to Big Valley Towing of Las Vegas and the Ford Ambulance was sold at municipal auction a while back.
