Goodyear New LT184 & E186

Goodyear is getting 2 New Pierce Pumper's  LT184 will have additional compartment space and new pumper for New Station 186 , but might go to E181 &  E186 would get a Smeal

No, because some cities run their LTs as engine companies and others as ladder companies. You should expect everything but an aerial device on an LT regardless.

The current L181 and Pierce Dash being traded into Pierce for the two new engines.  Another older Pierce will go to community college.

It seems like most of the valley departments don't have reserve ladders. Is that because of the LTs? And what's up with Goodyear going from one manufacturer to another? First it was Pierce, then KME, then Smeal, now back to Pierce.

KME's were purchased to save money, got 3 KME's for the price of 2 Pierce's , Pierce didn't bid on the last 3 that were awarded to Smeal 

Chandler  too,   Tanker USA, Smeal,  Rosenbauer    and the next 3 pumpers tba      

Chandler new Platforms & Queen Creek new platform were each just north of $900,000,  Pierce's would have been in the $1.4 Mil  area for each 

Queen Creek had to spend about another $200,000 on equipment for their 1st Ladder Co.    

Any word if  Tempe awarded the 2 Ladder Trucks & 1 LT  bid ?

the old LT273 is going to become LA unit  and are looking for land for Station 278 around the Tempe Marketplace area
