LACoFD- Engine 82

6 posts in this topic

I think 82's is at the La Cañada-Flintwood  station.  I was not aware of  any LACoFD rigs that had the black over red color scheme.  That is interesting.  Does anyone know why many Southern California departments are going to black over red?  Thanks in advance.  -Rescue51.

Thanks for the information "Generic".  However, I thought most of the new pumpers (and that KME is not too new) did have CAFS.  I thought that was fairly common now on engine pumps.

Interesting 'pump305'.  Do you know why they removed CAFS?  I thought CAFS saved a fair amount of water not to mention is better for types of fire suppression.

My understanding is, more problems with the system than its worth.
