Looks like a later model Tahoe. Not sure they are still putting those red teardrop lights on them though, newer lights would be LEDs in the sideview mirrors.
Looks like older model I've never really understood the red spot light. Makes sense they would get SUV in that area since mountains

The previous rigs were sent back. Hopefully they did their wise I would assume they just hold the deliver till it's fixed.

From looks of it only hazmat tractors have 4 doors with lockers In back and usar tractor has 3 doors with roll up doors on side.

Squad 21 call load increased because they shut down all other squads.

Not necessarily the traffic can be pretty bad if not crawl in that area. I see it as redundant. They are Meant and designed for two totally separate things. HR call load should not increase since they respond to all major wrecks city wide, and what ever else they may be needed for. It wasn't up to couple years back did they start sending usar to wrecks. I saw HR3 on tv today on multiple physical Rescue incident on 2fwy. They already remarked it to 3's

That gonna be cramp space with every one at that station, got full task force, usar, rescue and division chief and now heavy rescue. Doesn't make sense. Well guess be easier getting into the bay.

So what going to happen to them now? Are they being sent back to pierce?

Not that I remember squads don't carry extrication equipment. In both counties. I know the heavy squads carry extra back boards & heavy duty boards for geriatric patients.

I didn't realize county was still ordering rear mounts. Found this new pic of quint 116 in Carson from code2high. From looks of it, 2016/2017 model got same led flood light bar as new tractors for usar and hazmat. After seeing pics of station size I see why. I would if they are ordering or order more than just one?
