Exactly, they need a ready reserve for the OES Type 3's.  Hence the purchase.

9th TDA 

Shop # 60809

Both s/n 60796 (grey ladder) and 60807 are at the Shops.  60796 has T11 lettering above the grill below the windshield.  

HM129 runs a non trailered setup.  As seen here.  This is being replaced with the new KME pictured above.

They either leave there recent delivery's up for awhile or they recycled a picture from 7 years ago.  Either way, its not a picture of the newest truck.  Although I would not be surprised if it looked the same from the exterior.

This is a 2010 model.  Save the pictures from Seagrave website onto your desktop.  They are time stamped from back in 2010.  

The first LAFD Pierce TDA, grey ladder, was spotted in Wisconsin 6 days ago.  

Waterguy, I'm assuming this one won't be delivered yet.  Or did they fix the issues with this one before it is sent out?

7th TDA 

Shop # 60807

County received three kme hazmat tractors and one kme usar tractor.  See below for pics of each.  Usar tractor has the "US&R" designation on the raised roof. 

That's a hazmat tractor not usar.  

More than likely on hold until the Pierce TDA issue(s) is/are sorted out.  

Drove by the shops this week on Tuesday.  None of the new Pierce TDA's are there.  They must be Pierce Ontario.  Been over a year since the first one was delivered.  Must be some serious Warranty issues for these to not be at LAFD shops or in service yet.  Wateguy, can you add some context as to what is going on with these?  What is the issue(s)?

Not anytime soon.........the Pierce TDA contract is a 10 year deal.
