Posted January 3, 2018 Looks like station 6 now has 2 medics just like station 8 bringing the total amount of medics in El Cajon to 5 during the peak hours of the day. I'm curious to see if this is a permanent unit that will run during the peak hours like M440 or if this is just some sort of temporary unit. CSA69 is supposed to be bringing in a 5th medic too which would really bolster the transportation numbers for Santee, Lakeside and El Cajon as mutual aid from AMR has been running into the 3 jurisdictions quite a bit lately. Posted January 4, 2018 Thanks for the good reporting '619Emergencys". Santee and Lakeside have been providing their medics 4, 5, 2 and 3's quite a bit into El Cajon lately. Does Lakeside FS 1 have a medic rig? I know they once did, but I believe that unit got transferred to 2's when the new station was built.
Posted January 5, 2018 Station 1 does not have a medic currently I believe but I would imagine when they bring in the new medic unit it will be housed at station 1 as medic
Posted January 10, 2018 AMR M430 will operate 7 days a week from 1000-2200 and will be staffed with one EMT and one medic. M440 is also staffed with one EMT and one medic and operates from 0800-2000. The other three medic rigs are 24 hrs and have dual medic staffing. 619Emergencys and Rescue51 like this
