Contra Costa: Fire district can bid to become county's ambulance service provider

Something similar is happening in another part of the state.

The Fire Chiefs in Monterey County are having a war of words with the County Supervisors over their handling of the AMR contract for PM service. The supervisors extended AMRs contract for another year but the fire chiefs said wait why the other FDs can bid over the EMS.
