Posted November 5, 2013 thanks so much LA wasnt forth comming on the air He was an Engineer stationed at Fire Station 8 on the C Shift, His fellow firefighter's held a fundraiser selling t-shirts to help raise money for him to relieve the "small stresses", There was a photo of the firefighting cast from Chicago Fire holding a t shirt as well as firefighters from around the globe. Osby announces the active duty death of Los Angeles County Fire Fighter Specialist Shawn Bayer on November 2, 2013, from cancer.
