Posted July 27, 2020 (edited) A few questions for anyone with knowledge of the LACOFD Lifeguard units: 1. Lifeguard Rescue units (LR100, LR200, etc.) - are they essentially the same type of units as a Squad? And where are they based out of, the 4 section Headquarters? 2. Area Units (Area 16, Area 23, etc.) - are they assigned to a "specific" location, or do they rotate from one place to another? Same for the Lifeguard units (LG231, LG272, etc.)? 3. Sector units (Sector 1, Sector 5, etc.) - similar to BC or Captains? Edited July 27, 2020 by Engine504Driver
Posted August 25, 2023 1. Lifeguard Rescue units are not the same type of units as a Squad. Baywatch Isthmus and Baywatch Avalon are equipped as ALS and so would be most similar to a Squad. 2. Screen shot from this LACoFD Lifeguard Division overview. Starting from the 2:00 mark. And lastly this screenshot from this Lifeguard Division Overview from Youtube.
