Norh Las Vegas new Pierce Quantum is done  

and should be delivered this week

and going to   E50 or E53 ?

Somebody at 50's had told me that it may be going to 54's

North Las vegas Engine 54 did get the new Quantum,  E56 now has Quantum w/squirt and T56 has The Quantum stick

untill station 58 gets built  (when ever that will be ?)  E252 & E253 reserve engines are stationed at 251

A Ladder tower,  rescue   another engine should be ordered soon

The rising cost of the repair bills and downtown of apparatus is why their are replacing the aging rigs     

Stations 58 & 59 have been pushed out a few years or could be built sooner if growth picks up in the 

northern part of the city. 

     Their budget problems all started after they built the new City Hall they couldn't afford

The City added many people in all departments to handle enormous growth during the boom.

When all went bust , the foreclosures rate in the City was high. People got laid off in every City department, but that was not enough as people lost their homes and taxes were not paid to the City.

 

A new mayor and some changes in the City Council plus new financial guidance has caused a change in spending by the City. It may be some years before those new proposed stations are built.
