I really dislike Buckeye Valley using the ALS rescues to do inter-facility transports. It puts residents at risk if something major was to happen. Long delay waiting for SW ambulances to show up.

I have all the frequencies programmed but can't pick up anything. Did they change something? I am using a Pro-106. Any help appreciated.

K deck stuff. I have all the west side control frequencies programmed but get nothing. I had them working a while back but then nothing.

Maricopa still has big box stores that would require a 100' ladder for aerial operations. No reason to handicap yourself by buying a 75'ladder.

Did all the Colets go to the scrap heap?

Is T842 the newer style tanker that was at Queen Creek before the town fd?

Really surprised they didn't get the large arff trucks, like the E-Ones. With all those large jumbo jets flying in there, larger makes more sense. All of Phoenix's arff trucks are the large ones, and their airport is much smaller than LAX.

Gone are the days when a fleet was all 1 manufacturer. Now it's all about the cost. Makes it hard on the mechanics.

Buckeye is in talks to start their own ambulance service. I was told their presentation went well. Buckeye Valley has too many issues that Buckeye is tired of.

San Diego Harbor Police have the fireboats. They are the small version. Nothing large like LAFD. Similar to the L.A.County lifeguard boats.

Wonder why only the ladder has the Arizona flag in the grill. The engines have the US flag.

Does Blythe respond to ems calls or just fires? Does AMR handle the med calls?

Surprising that they are still around with 43s right around the corner. Thought county would have taken them over long ago.

I was wondering if there is a trick to programming this. I punched in the control channel but I get no audio. It is stopping on the id's . Heartland is working just fine. Any help/suggestions? ?

I think you got the numbers mixed. The haz mat is at 608 and the ladder is at 606.

H_par202, Arizona runs ladder tenders on ems calls. They are small to medium sized rescue trucks that carry the same gear as a regular ladder company without the aerial device. They are staffed by the ladder company. The captain usually decides what rig they're taking on the call. Concept works very well here.
