I don’t think so. 88s is still in the old rig ( red lenses LED light bar ) this rig has a clear lense lightbar

The county won’t build 116s a new station but offered to replace Hermosa Beach old station which is now station 100 smh

Truck 9 is a 2006 American lafrance. Same as for old truck 11.

I thought they were suppose to keep the Hermosa Beach engine.

I personally feel like the firefighters of Hermosa Beach took a gain by going county but the city took a lost. I’ve notice the Quint 161 seems to be the 1st responding truck to Hermosa Beach. It was said that the county would still uphold the mutual aid agreements between the neighboring departments but that does not seem to be the case. 

Please feel free to comment and correct me if I am wrong.

Platforms are not really a big thing for most California departments. Seems like only some of the smaller departments have them.

Unless truck 26 when into service with in the past 3 days that’s a negative.

I wonder how long or if LAFD and other SoCal departments will adapt some sort of red and blue light combo like FDNY did and Chicago.

This post stated refurbished paramedic rescue bodies which sounds more like a ambulance to me.

Redondo beach will and does transport every now and then ( load and go situations ) they will also transport police and fire personnel as well as local government members.

With a full task force plus 4 rescues and a quick response unit I AGREE. it’s time for a new station 9.

Who knows what will happen. I remember after 80s new station was built that LAX was planning to build one huge station to house 80s, 51s, and 95s all in one.

69s, 95s, and 50s are still frontline Simon-duplex. 92s is in a reserve.

The old rig ( 2005 ) is now at 27s. The 2016 rig is still the current rig ( red lenselight bar ).

E37 has been in a reserve for a long time as well.

I really hate that they no longer put CITY on apparatus
