No, ocfa relies fairly heavily on tillers still. They have about 8-10 tillers on order (assuming from KME) for 2025/26-2027/28 to replace their 2015-18 tillers, id maybe guess that they may order sooner, the current fleet of tillers are always having issues.

Another update! Turns out we got a curveball, Truck 20 from Irvine received the final 2023 Sutphen, replacing their 2018 KME TDA. T20s tda will be going to T56 as the sutphen would not meet their needs as they are a usar unit. T85 will likely instead be receiving one of the KME rearmounts once they arrive.

Apologies for the mixup! Truck 9 has received their new sutphen, there was a mixup that they would receive a Rearmount. I am unsure at this point if T85 or T56 are receiving a new sutphen. I will be sure to update once i find out. Cheers!

Updated: Note that T59 was not included in the KME Rearmount order, it was purchased as a demo/pilot rig

Truck 29 is completed now, not sure about 12 and 20.

Any idea whos getting the 4th?

My guess for the 3 out of 4 tdas will to to T12,T21, and T45. Dont have an exact idea where the 4th would go maybe T10. Dont think T28 could fit a tda.

Unfortunately, SFFD rejected the 2nd tiller. There were so many issues with both of the tillers, so only T13 got the ferrara. The other one went to National Fire Radio.

OCFA purchased the following units: 1 Rosenbauer Heavy Rescue 1 Rosenbauer HazMat 3 Sutphen SPH100 Platforms 4 KME 103’ Tuff Truck ( T59 is already in service)

Finally, T13 went into service recently.

LAFD has 2 new tillers from pierce. Not sure the assignments but probably will be T21 at least.

Pierce finished 2 new tdas for lafd. Guessing T21 and T50 are next.

There was a page in the production section on the ferrara website and showed the 2nd tda for sffd labeled as T-1. So my guess is that will probably go to T1. The page is gone now. Anyone have any new info for the new tdas?

Is there any news about the LACoFD And Ventura County Rosenbauer tillers?
