  1. That is alot of deployment changes. SQ204 handling all of the center Haz incidents? Surprised to see the HM moved all the way out there and next door to a Squad. Plus AJ has 2 TRT companies, at least they used to.

    Change is good tho

    Opps, I meant the U-boat.

But thanks for the report, I never make it that far west.

Oh ok. BV used to have a second Uboat at old FS327 but that rig was sold a few years back.

I want to say U324's SVI is a 96. It originally served as a Heavy Rescue in Michigan City, IN.

Now, when U324's SVI goes down mechanical there is no spare. The 95 Dash will fill that role and the future plan is to send the SVI to be refurbed.

(All rigs are OOS in the pic except the Dodge)

Why such an older rig for a dedicated reserve? How old is the freightliner?

E326's current 07 Enforcer has not been refurbished yet. It might be sent for the same refurb that the one currently in Vegas at Firetrucks Unlimited is receiving but the decision has not been finalized. If it is sent to refurb it will be assigned to E328, sending E328's Saber into reserve.

The current situation on the Freightliners is as follows:

    2000 FL80/EOne (formerly E328) is a spare

1999 FL80/EOne (formerly E326) has been removed from service due to frame cracks and mechanical deterioration. It will not return to service at BV.

    1997 FL80/Pierce is still a spare

1997 FL80/Pierce was given an in house refurb and repainted into the black over red scheme. Currently a spare.

Also Buckeye Valley has another Pierce Enforcer Engine being refurbished by Fire Truck Unlimited

Yep that one is slated for E326 when it returns. E326's current '07 Enforcer is going to be a reserve rig at that time.

  5. 1995 Pierce Dash ex Haz Mat rig that's being converted to a Utility truck. It will serve as a backup for the Freightliner/ SVI currently assigned to U324.

E321's rig back from Firetrucks Unlimited and being outfitted with equipment. Should be in service by the end of March20190207_153429.thumb.jpg.ba8c901e4d0bbc56376a76dd3487f0be.jpg20190207_153326.thumb.jpg.ed6e051fce2bb6a01a40895dd3525d77.jpg20190207_153326.thumb.jpg.ed6e051fce2bb6a01a40895dd3525d77.jpg

What the hell is going on here? Don't get how 3 departments nowhere near each other are part of the same district? Sun Lakes should have joined either Chandler or Gilbert. Tonopah should join Buckeye Valley,  who should then join Buckeye.

If only it was that easy.......

  7. Buckeye just lost the Nikola semi truck plant that was supposed to be off of Sun Valley Parkway. They opted for Coolidge instead.

I would be surprised if Trillium is going by then. Festival Ranch is coming along nicely but it's mostly retirement folks.

I believe that Buckeye has one Sutphen pumper on order as well. Not sure where it will be headed.

Very interested to see what the coming future for Buckeye and west looks like.

  8. ARU is an Adaptive Response Unit. So they are ALS Engine Companies that are the second ALS unit in the station. They are usually housed at busy stations but when there is a multiple alarm fire or a unit goes out of service for training they are moved into those areas to provide coverage.
