  1. I noticed that on plus point that San Miguel is using San Diego County 4 digit numbers now. Guessing E7619 is old E19 and E7213 is E23, any insight you all might have?
  2. Thank You for info
  3. Mesa, Gilbert, and Glendale all use black hements for firefighters,
  4. back when I was a youngster when El Cajon fire added paramedics, they ran two ambulances out of what was still el cajon station one, Medic 3 and 4391 (BLS ambulance) both were dispatched in station one 1st due together, with M3 going with Engines in other station 1st dues. Back then Lakeside had Medic 1 and Santee Medic 2. too age me more I remeber Medic 6-2 and Medic 6-3 of old Spring Valley FPD.
  5. LT220 is using a newer quanturm engine
  6. Oops, Heartland Truck 6 not 9
  7. San Diego County Fire Departments have a mix of tillers (Oceanside 2174, San Marcos 1471, SDFRD T1, Santee T4, Carlsbad 2275, Encinitas 2375, Coronado T37 and 1 at one of the North county Reservation dept.'s) rear mounts (Majority) and towers (Heartland T9 and 11, Vista 1274' Escondido 1371)
  8. 1st due Ladders to East and Northeast Mesa are Ladders 209 and 214. way East is AJ Ladder 263, South East Mesa and Phoenix-Gateway airport usally get Gilbert Ladders 251 and 255, Mesa will be getting station 221 out on the old proving grounds within next couple years which will have a Engine and Ladder Company, I suppect the Ladder Tender Co at 220's will be moving out there as a Ladder Co.
  9. the answer for the Scottdale Ladders is: Scottsdale moved them around a while back for better coverage, Ladder 602 is a dry tower downtown with Engine 602, L603 was moved to Station 606 as a stand alone company (tower quint and LT), L604 was moved north to 616 also stand alone (75' quint) and L611 stayed in place. Also technically Mesa now has six ladder companies if you inc. LT220 (201, 204, 206, 209, 214 all 85' tower quints). Ladder Tender 220 running a Engine with extra gear.
  10. Mesa Station 220 has two companies Engine and Ladder Tender, hear both on radio and seen them on road, maybe the Ladder Company will move from there to one of the southeast station in future
  11. One of the new Mesa Engines might have gone to Ladder Tender 220, gonna try to confirm
  12. Here in Phoenix Metro almost all frontline Ladder Companies are Tower Ladders, Phoenix runs 14 Ladder Co.'s 13 are towers and one bronto, all 5 Mesa Ladder Co.'s are 85' towers. The few straight ladders are Buckeye L703, AJ L264, Scottsdale L611 and L616 and a few reserve/spare ladders. Tucson is a Mix, couple towers and several rear mounts, Buckeye L703 only frontline tiller.
