Most LACoFD Patrols are normally staffed with one person and respond as part of the Engine Co. Or Quint Co. they share station with, I believe they increase staff on them on high fire weather days, and for type 6 strike teams.

USAR 4 was moved to brand new station 2 and became USAR 2, station 4 now a single Engine house. Both stations are downtown and not very far from each other.

Ladder Tenders general cross manned, like Gilbert Fire said they reduce wear and tear on the Full "Big" Ladders, depending on agency LT's can be rescue engines, Medium Squad style or even Small squad style rigs
