I believe that there are two type 3's stationed at 55's.

Awesome and are any of them going to replace the older type 3's at 55 and 155 on Catalina Island?

Are they OES type 3's or are they going to be L.A. County Type 3's similar to the ones on Santa Catalina Island. 

Will the new Station 2 also house a Truck Company?

Isn't there any possibilities of adding another truck for Inglewood and making Engine 170 a fully staffed Engine Company as a result of the LA Rams building a new stadium in Inglewood and eventually making Inglewood their home?

161 has a TDA quint that was relocated from 162 recently

Hopefully more Texas  Departments will try TDA's in the near future. 

This type of cab set-up would look awesome on future TDA's that the county orders. 

Awesome rig and I just heard that Heavy Rescue is going to relocate to Fire Station 3 in April but don't know if it's official maybe someone can shed light to this.

I thoughts that Boat 110 was already staffed with it's own crew.

I can see Truck 110 responding to incidents on the PCH and I remember a few years ago seeing Truck 110 when they had that old rearmount truck going code 3 up Ocean Avenue in Santa Monica responding to a structure fire in Malibu. 

The rig looks to be a total loss but I am glad that the crew is safe.

I believe that many Departments in the East San Francisco Bay area cities use the 1,000 number series numbering system on their apparatus such as Oakland,  Berkeley,  and Fremont.

Hopefully Chief Osby can lobby the cities of Hawthorne and Gardena to get funding to open up 2 new engine companies to place in service at Stations 158 and 161. Does anyone know if Inglewood will be getting another Truck company or an additional squad and making Engine 170 a fully staffed Engine company due to the LA Rams coming to Inglewood in the next couple of years.

Good question and the engines from both of those stations were relocatec to stations 159 and 162  and hopefully the Department will place 2 new engine companies at 158 and 161.

Yes it is the Department that used to be Lime Green with a Blue Stripe.

Who would get the second truck, would it be the station at the airport? 

Maybe Santa Monica wants to have a brand new Truck as a dedicated Ready Reserve. 

How many stations does Santa Monica have and how many frontline engines and trucks does the department have?

Maybe they will order parts for the LTI's from Smeal.

Wouldn't it be better if Hermosa Beach Fire Department merges with either Redondo Beach Fire or Manhattan Beach Fire Department?
