It resembles more of a conventional looking cab that you would see on any conventional Engines, Trucks or heavy Rescue rigs with a crash-rescue body placed on the back of the rig and the turret on top of it.

If a 2nd. heavy Rescue is placed in service it should go to 88's in Sherman Oaks instead since 88's is more central to the entire valley plus it can respond to certain parts of the west side at a shorter response time than 56's.

Why doesn't San Diego just start a squad program similar to L.A. County or Ventura County instead so that private ambulances can still transport.

What do you mean by Brush Trucks, Patrols or Type 3's.

Budget cuts over the years and companies being closed is what ruined the LAFD.

Which Crash Unit was First on Scene during the Asiana Airline Crash a couple of weeks ago?

I think that the majority of West Coast Departments and Hawaii are going to continue to use TDA's as their Trucks instead of Towers. Every Department seems to be happy with their TDA concept with the exception of Orange County CA and San Diego Fire Departments since both of them seem to be continuing with ordering Rear Mount Aerials or Platforms.

Speaking of Fire Department aircraft does anybody know which fire agencies will have their aircraft on display besides LA County and LAFD?

I just heard the weather forecast stating that it will possibly be reaching the 100's on Saturday so stay hydrated and get there early if you want to see the firefighting aircraft because there is a good chance that they will be committed later on in the day.

I will be there as well and if it is very hot that day get there early.
