Unless both engines are on other calls, then no ladder. If you're going to have a ladder, it should be independently staffed.

If both companies are on other calls, that is what the automatic aid system is for. I agree, should be independent companies but when it comes down to budget, this actually works.  Same as Buckeye or Avondale staffing a ladder and engine with same manpower.

That makes no sense at all.

    Why not?

Gives them "two" ladder companies.  The way the dispatch is built for a 3-1, it ensures a Ladder or Tender on all calls in Daisy.

Do they keep the collapse equipment I support 8 or is there a separate trailer? And what does the current support 8 carry thx

Collapse, trench, confined space, high angle, all technical rescue equipment in the support truck and goes with Engine 8.  E28 and E45 each have a similar support truck.

  4. Buckeye Valley got their bond approved. This will mean new apparatus coming soon.  If the refurb works out well, they may send more to save money.

They are also looking at building a new Station.

Buckeye Valley has also served Gila Bend terminating ambulance service in Gila Bend.

Buckeye Valley shops are also wrapping up building a type 6 brush truck.
