  1. Medic 440, interesting looking AMR unit.
  2. Looking at PulsePoint M438 is no longer a 12HR unit, they are now 24HR and have replaced M8, M440 is now the 12HR unit at station 8, the only fire medic left for Heartland is M9.
  3. I couldn't agree any more. Also M440 took a call today in El Cajon, I don't believe there are currently any AMR rigs in the area with this unit number, I'm guessing this is the 3rd medic that will be in El Cajon with the new contract, not sure why its numbered 440, I thought the units were going to be numbered 436-439.
  4. BRUSH FIRE 02/24/16 10:03 (SAN DIEGO - ) E17 ONS WITH BRUSH FIRE. REQ. UPGRADE TO FIRST ALARM VEGETATION FIRE. [sAN008]
  5. Noticed this unit responding on Pulsepoint, looks to be responding in E7619s area, did they redo some unit numbers?
  6. That's what it's looking like, they're both at station 8 too.
  7. Medic 438 is now in service.
  8. Does anyone know where B3 is currently stationed? I remember it being at Station 6 but it has been coming from La Mesa recently.
  9. Read on another site that the green light was to signify a truck from an engine like Spartan said, when a truck gets on scene of an incident at night its supposed to be easier for the incident commander to distinguish it from an engine.
  10. Truck 6 just went on a structure fire response and came from station 9, it was at station 6 yesterday now it looks like its back at station 9.
  11. I've heard on the scanner 2 times recently San Diego medics taking calls in the Lemon Grove and La Mesa, I wonder if now that Rural/Metro and AMR are the same company San Diego medics will be called into AMR contract cities. I've also seen on Pulsepoint AMR units on calls in the city of San Diego.
  12. I don't mean to butt into yours and lkseng3's conversation here but as far as I know AMR 436 has already replaced Medic 6, I live in 6s service area and haven't seen it in about 2-3 weeks so i'm guessing it was replaced right away, also T6 is out for maintenance again and I don't believe E206 is being ran out of the station right now. Brush 8 has been running a lot medical calls recently and is actually the first out of station 8 with E8 being the second out, maybe not having E206 in service is the reason for Brush 8 running calls. In the last week SMG E7213 & E7211 were pulled into El Cajon for medicals and just today an AMR unit had to be called in from a distance because there were no medics available . El Cajon will definitely have to do something with the increasing number of medical calls they get and I think the idea you gave would be perfect because living just down the block from one of these assisted care facilities I see the FD multiple times a week at the location.
  13. Hey guys, first post here on the forum. Heres a link to an article on this http://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/news/2015/sep/22/el-cajon-contracting-out-some-paramedic-services/
