Three new Ford/Demers ambulances being delivered soon.

Community Ambulance is also part of the 911 system in the Las Vegas area. It does transports for Clark County FD in zone 7. That zone is located between Henderson and the City of Las Vegas.

AMR might soon be losing additional market share in the Valley. The AZ DHS director will be deciding this month whether to issue Community Ambulance a CON. If she gives that Las Vegas-based ambulance service the greenlight it will take over the Dignity Health IFT contract from AMR.

Maricopa Ambulance has taken delivery of 13 new Ford/Wheeled Coach Type I ambulances for its Glendale 911 transport contract. Contract starts on 4-1-2019.

Five months later Glendale city council will finally vote on the 911 ambulance contract. I'm wondering if AMR caused the delay by objecting to the way the bid process was conducted. Thanks for posting that pdf. I'm not surprised to see that their proposed ambulance operation will bleed red ink like every other FD operated ambulance service in the Valley.

When will AMR be pulling out of Goodyear? Has Goodyear FD submitted a CON application to AZ DHS yet?

It will be interesting to see if Maricopa Ambulance uses Type II rigs on this contract.
