  1. These have already been delivered, all 36 of them to LACoFD shops. A few are finally service.
  2. More photos of Foam 10 on the KME Facebook site: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10152048497017010.1073741950.209948672009&type=3
  3. Looks like LAFD is installing LED lights on the front of the Pierce Arrow XT's. See link below. The new LED scene lights are being installed on the front of the AC boxes of the cabs of the Arrow XT's. Waterguy will all the Pierce Arrow XT's get these new front Scene Lights? Also Engine 104 has them already installed in addition to new LED light bars on the rear. Did E104 get in an accident to have the rear orange lights removed and the clear small light bars installed? Waterguy can you shed some "light" on this? See photo of Engine 93 with new front Scene Lights here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/lafd/12260074856/
  4. Sorry I don't have any photos of E104 as I driving next to it on the freeway. The rear smaller clear led light bars looked really nice on it.
  5. Thanks for the information Waterguy. Did US&R 88 get its front light bar replaced with a new LED bar/kit? For some reason I had noticed it in this photo http://www.flickr.com/photos/lafd/11635900344/in/pool-losangelesfiredepartment/ Also for Stations to get the front LED Floodlights installed is it as simple as just putting in the request and then it will get completed upon the rigs next visit to the shops?
  6. Its not a reflection. These are Scene lights facing forward. I saw them in person on Engine 104. On both sides of the rig. The light bar does not extend in front of this section of the AC diamond plate boxes on the cabs.
  7. Looking very nice LAFD. Lots of pictures here: http://www.braunnw.com/popup.php?id=835&pid=23438
  8. Looks like LAFD is testing solar panel roofs on engine 88. See pic here from accident on the 405 this am. Waterguy, any information on this? http://abclocal.go.com/kabc/story?section=news/local/los_angeles&id=9367559

  11. Compartment Body. To be built by California Truck Equipment Company with a Troy rear command module.
  12. Sorry meant to say Brush Patrols.
  13. These are being built on Dodge Ram chassis. Two prototypes will be built first. Also two new Brush Trucks are being built on Dodge Ram chassis. KME won the bid on the Brush Trucks.
  14. Last I heard was that back in July there was 36 new Dodge Squads at the shops. The shops are so backed up they did not have time in July to get them in service. Hopefully that has changed now.
  15. Looks like San Francisco Fire Dept. is running Chevy Tahoe PPV. Love the Black reflective stripe. Good looking Division and Battalion vehicles. http://www.flickr.com/photos/44576730@N06/8413521072/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/dwthompson/9737535826/in/pool-californiafireapparatus http://www.flickr.com/photos/dwthompson/9726619862/in/pool-californiafireapparatus
  16. Thanks Pump305. I believe they are in a '98 which is what some of the other ones that are getting the new ones are in as well.
  17. Thanks Pump305. Any idea if Engine 68 will be getting one of the new engines?
  18. Any idea why they have been at the shops for so long? Also who else is expected to get one of the other 10 new engines?
  19. It appears to be missing the reflective striping on the front of the cab along where the front headlights are.
