City of Maricopa has ordered a new Velocity PUC engine

Queen Creek Ladder 411 will be a Rosenbauer Commander 88Ft Mid Mount Ladder Tower, I think their going with Rosenbauer because of the price and are leasing it threw a 3rd party and need to spend another $150,000+ to buy all the added equipment for a Truck Co because this is QC's 1st Truck Co. L411 is going to be very busy, 411's first due is already busy and now will be a Ladder Co, L411 will also be the first in Ladder to much of East Mesa until Mesa puts a Ladder Co. out there, (A perfect nick name for L411 would be "The Ellsworth Express", Mesa L209 @ Power & Southern is currently the closest Ladder Co. to East Mesa, Also If Mesa's props, passes in Nov, Two New Fire Station's project will start immediately, 13 new pieces of apparatus will be ordered immediately & 45 New Firefighters will be hired

Speaking of ARU's E2253 is going into service next year and a 2nd ARU Engine Co is planned for the south area, no date yet, but likely 2020 to 2022 time frame and I believe Surprise is planning to put a ARU Engine Co at 305's and it's going to run as E305

They were just in Appleton for a production inspection and are very happy with the Velocity pumper production inspection

Any word what E844 is getting as it's regular ride or update on the Ladder Co. going to East County ?

Scottsdale New Engine 606 & E609 are getting new Pierce Impel PUCS engines, Engine 606 will be a Haz Mat Engine And 609 will be a ARFF Engine for Scottsdale Airport a new Impel/PUC Engine for 605 and a Velocity Ladder Tower for Ladder 608 should be coming soon

E183, E184 & E185, and are looking into refurbishing the Pierce's

When they ordered the Smeals, the City Council asked the Fire Chief why were already replacing 4 year old fire trucks ? and before you were hired as Fire Chief, Pierce was the sole provider for fire apparatus. The Chief told them Pierce didn't bid, When they ordered the KME's The Town Manager & Fire Chief told the Council that the KME's were high quality at bargain price. Also Chandler recently purchased 3 Smeal pumpers. Now they have ordered Rosenbauer's ( 2 pumpers & 2 Platforms, & a utility ) and they had a Spartan ERV pumper on order for E2811. I assume they cancelled it Spartan/ERV & Smeal are the same co

Fountain Hills is getting Rosenbauer 101ft Tower stock/spec model and the old ALF ladder wil be donated to Port Aransas TX FD

Mesa needs the rent money

Gilbert Hospital & Florence Hospitals are closing Monday, Native 1 & Lifenet 1 will need to find new quarters, I assume NA1 will move to Mesa Gateway Airport or Mercy Gilbert and LN 1 will move to Florence Station 541, Banner Ironwood is going to get a lot more busy and will need to open the 4th & 5th floors Go figure Banner is building a new 4 floor hospital @ Loop 202 & Alma School in Chandler & another new hospital is coming. Gilbert General @ Val Vista & Pecos Also PCH is building a 5 story Children's Hospital next to Mercy Gilbert

Also Native 1 is no longer at Gilbert Hospital
