has the LAFD received any of the 15 KME's from the latest order and does anyone know where they will be assigned to?

So with the possible purchase of a new USAR Rig for 88's should we assume that their current rig will go to 27's, 85's or 89's. and if that happens is there talk of replacing the two remaining USAR rigs that are gonna be 15 years old real soon?

So is the smart siren gonna be the standard electric siren for all new and future LAFD Apparatus only? or is all the newer apparatus eventually going to be upgraded with the smart siren also?

On The Doa Structure fire i believe LAPD handles the calls for the coroner. and as far as the request for a tow. i think they just request a tow from their radio ops.

I Live In 48's In the Harbor right near Providence San Pedro Hospital, and I see quite often or have seen quite often just about every ALS rescue in the harbor blow right through residential stop signs during code 3 patient transports, perfect example being the intersection of Alma St. & 7th St. aswell as others enroute to that hospital, quite dangerous for all involved.

Saw R264 in the Harbor yesterday they were still in what looked to be like and 05 or 06 Ford E-450.

Haven't heard any updates, wouldn't surprise me if KME was awarded the bid. Gonna go out on a limb and say the following Trucks would most likely to be the recipients of the new TDA's 10,21,26,33,37,66/89 & 95 for the 1st 7 proposed, but i wouldnt be surprised if it wasn't doubled considering LAFD currently has 3 TDA's beyond 15 yrs of frontline service and 10 more rapidly approaching that same status.

Besides R51's new Dodge in service is there any of the new dodges from the last order of 20 In service or are they still being outfitted at the shops? and does and anybody have the assignment roster of the remaining 19?

I actually saw LF95 A Few months ago in the Harbor on a Hazmat Incident and E295 was in An 05 Pierce

Engine 51's Frontline Apparatus is an 07 Seagrave With the Blue Chevrons on the rear, Rescue 51 was Assigned one of the new Dodge's, not sure if it's in service yet though, as for the gray Crown Vic not sure. I would guess that it is possibly an Arson Unit.

E295 was assigned E95's 05 Pierce Once E95 Received Their KME a Couple of years ago and RA95 is Currently assigned a Dodge.

Does anyone happen to know what E91's current apparatus is, Their 03 Seagrave Shop# 60645 has been reassigned as E285. thanx.

After all the new KME's are in service and the engines and pumps either get bumped down or get reassigned as a pump, that will put most of the 99/00 pierce Dash's with the exception of like 6 or 7 into reserve.

Must Be E-72's old 05 Pierce, E-75's Went E-84. thanx.

E-209 was reassigned as in E-9 not to long after the closures back in 2011, E-9's pierce was reassigned as E-89 and E-89's Seagrave was reassigned as E-289. T-14 went to T-12, T-72 Went to T-3, T-38 Went to T-85, T-58 Went to T-74, E-214 went to E43, E-296 went to E-212 . I believe all closed Task Force Engines became either the Pump at those stations or became 400 series engines.

E-285 is now assigned an 03 Seagrave, not sure of the Shop No. but I'm assuming it is E-55 former engine. And does anyone happen to know what happened to T-85's 06 ALF TDA, they have been in a reserve truck 96 Simon Duplex for 5 or 6 months

Correct Me if I'm wrong. but doesn't LA County also have auto aid with Long Beach and certain parts of san bernardino county such as Mt. Baldy and Montclair or would that just be considered mutual Aid?

Waterguy, Do you know happen to know where E46, E77, E82 & E89or289 both being assigned 07 pierce & seagrave once their new KME will be assigned to. and i am also assuming E21, E26, E33, E61, E87, E88 & E93 will be reassigned as The 200 series/pump at those stations.

Station13 has A second paramedic RA Also R-213.

Rescue 46 also is assigned a new dodge.

Also Left Rescue 43 off the list who is also assigned a dodge

Rescue 23 is also assigned one of the dodge's.
