89's Pierce is now in service.
-
I was going to ask the same question if it's going to 103's or 130's in the northern part of the county.
-
Truck 98 was also Iinvolved in an accident as well.
-
Awesome and I remember another one on a Pierce Quantum going west on the 10 freeway a few years ago.
-
I heard of an LAFD Truck being involved in a accident and I drove by the LAFD shops and saw what appeared to be an American LaFrance tillerman's bucket seat completely totaled does anyone have any info on this?
-
Should keep them as ready reserves or training rigs.
-
Yes, there are 6 USAR houses, they're 3,5,27,85,88, and 89.
-
I believe the USAR Houses will get all the remaining trucks from this order.
-
How many were ordered?
-
116 needs a new station
-
Awesome and I will be there.

With new housing developments being built with smaller streets, it's extremely difficult to get a huge rear mount tower in there. Especially with cars parked on the street. Not to mention driving through heavy city traffic. Tillers here in AZ. haven't caught on with the exception of Buckeye, and they definitely need it for the community of Verrado, which has very narrow streets. Most depts. probably prefer a tower for safety reasons, but a tiller will get you into tight spots.

TDA's are the best.
-
That is such a bad idea to get rid of the Engine at 127 and I thought that Chief Osby is trying to get rid of Quint only stations.
-
Truck 26 is officially in their new Pierce Truck and I saw it in service at Station 26.

Mechanical sirens are a San Francisco tradition as well as their white over the dark red.
-
Fed Q2B mechanical sirens are the best and even LAFD has gone back to the Fed Q2B mechanical siren on all their rigs.
-
San Diego seems to be the last metropolitan department on the West Coast that hasn't gone tillered and their trucks are all straight stick aerials just like many East Coast Departments.
-
TDA's are much better overall.
-
No mechanical siren
-
Rest in Peace brother
-
Maybe they should have gone with a TDA instead.
-
I went by 26's the other day and they're still in their 2,000 American LaFrance.
-
Better yet build a brand new station 9.

What department is this that has the black over yellow TDA from Ferreira?
