  1. Finally San Diego Fire Rescue is getting TDA's again and maybe this will be the beginning of San Diego transitioning to TDA's for their trucks just as L.A. County and Orange County did with their trucks going from rearmounts to TDAs.

  2. There is an apparatus storage shed located on the side of Station 82 facing Foothill Blvd. and I believe that both the B.C. vehicle and the patrol are stored in that apparatus storage shed.

  3. The department did get a total of 6 type 3 engines for the mainland besides the 3 type 3's stationed on Santa Catalina Island and they need to be placed in service asap due to the current situation that we're having with more Santa Ana's being forcasted and no rain in the immediate future.

  4. Interesting and 32's water tender sure looks different in comparison to the other water tenders with the exception of water tender 128 having a cab-over apparatus and all the other water tenders resembling each other such as 80's and 156's.

  5. I saw a video on instagram of a new LAFD Pierce TDA going south on the 15 freeway in Las Vegas heading towards Los Angeles most likely coming from the Pierce Factory in Appleton Wisconsin and I noticed a taillight bulb not working and hopefully the rig doesn't have elictrical issue.

  6. I wouldn't be surprised if 1 gets a new Truck with all the mileage that their current one has due to the time that Engine 1 was closed and the light force had been swamped with lots of calls that the engine would normally go on.

  7. Also don't forget the 6 L.A. County Type 3 Engines from BME have been delivered and not sure of theirStation assignments but one of them supposedly is going to Station 79 in Valyermo which is located in the Eastern Antelope Valley,
