Awesome and are any of them going to replace the older type 3's at 55 and 155 on Catalina Island?

Are they OES type 3's or are they going to be L.A. County Type 3's similar to the ones on Santa Catalina Island.

161 has a TDA quint that was relocated from 162 recently

Hopefully more Texas Departments will try TDA's in the near future.

Awesome rig and I just heard that Heavy Rescue is going to relocate to Fire Station 3 in April but don't know if it's official maybe someone can shed light to this.

I thoughts that Boat 110 was already staffed with it's own crew.

I can see Truck 110 responding to incidents on the PCH and I remember a few years ago seeing Truck 110 when they had that old rearmount truck going code 3 up Ocean Avenue in Santa Monica responding to a structure fire in Malibu.

The rig looks to be a total loss but I am glad that the crew is safe.

Hopefully Chief Osby can lobby the cities of Hawthorne and Gardena to get funding to open up 2 new engine companies to place in service at Stations 158 and 161. Good question and the engines from both of those stations were relocatec to stations 159 and 162 and hopefully the Department will place 2 new engine companies at 158 and 161.

Maybe Santa Monica wants to have a brand new Truck as a dedicated Ready Reserve.
