I was by station 88 yesterday and saw there ALF truck still there

why doesn't Chicago fire use TDA aerial ladders?

It's probably one of the new orders

Where is the Los Angeles City logo or the lettering on the side

perhaps someday LAFD may go with Spartan Motors for there Aerials that manufacture features the LTI ladders

What is the latest update on Truck 9 from the shops? Is it gonna be repaired or replaced?

You never know the shops have performed many miracles and have brought back several heavily damaged rigs. Engine 98 was completely engulfed in a wild fire in 1993 and Engine 60 fell into a sink hole and was buried in mud both rigs were restored at the shops and put back into service. I'm sure that Truck 9 can be restored like new

Only if the truck was parked a few feet forward or a few feet back it would have missed being scorched but then where it was parked was the only place they could've positioned the ladder.

It's a shame Truck 9 was one of the newest truck's in front line service will the shops be able to repair it or will it be totaled

Is there any idea of when we'll see the new ladder trucks hit the streets and at what stations

City is not on the new engines or trucks

Are there any plans in the works to reinstate anymore disbanded truck companies and or Light forces 17, 58 are the 2 most needes

Are there any future bonds being proposed to replace other old out dated stations like 1,9,10,12, 60, 96 and 105? most of these stations still in use they have to park the RA outside and there isn't any place for the staff to park there vehicles.

I'm pretty sure that the lower call volume stations that are still running the first 2000 ALF will receive hand me downs 74 and 96 and possibly 1

I've seen that Truck 10 is now in a 2006 American La France usually 10s doesn't get handed down trucks they've always get brand new ones

I believe that now the oldest station in the city is 1's in Lincoln Hights

I drove by the new station and saw that RA 839 and the Battalion unit were in there not the engine or light force they might been out on a call. When did the station go into service?

Any word on the move in date yet

It's already July is there any news about Light Force 38 going back in service

Has the new station been completed and when will it open or has it opened already?
