  1. Nice looking rig similar look to SD city
  2. How many people does this rig usually carry? Also noticed no chevron stripes on back. I thought all new emergency rigs were required to have them.
  3. Great article to read. See how regions differ on equipment based on what they routinely face.
  4. I think currently their entire fleet is seagrave except for engine 31 I think which is pierce. Also didn't truck 31 ladder fail while back?
  5. If the can meet the specs and be the lowest bidder than yes lafd would buy seagraves again.
  6. Ventura county has ordered new engines with Rosenberg and first are set to arrive this spring. Start of switch from American la France fleet. https://m.facebook.com/venturacountyfire/photos/a.91805399889.80947.55474779889/10153893835149890/?type=3&source=48
  7. Their Seconded engine has been built!! http://www.rosenbaueramerica.com/whats-new/new-deliveries/16982-ventura-county-fire-department
  8. Interesting to see that their tiller bucket is more of the traditional look unlike RCF.
  9. Nice looking rigs wonder how similar new LAFD engines are going to be to these
  10. Seems so here is Rancho Cucamonga fire new tda by rosenbauer. http://www.rosenbaueramerica.com/whats-new/new-deliveries/7396-rancho-cucamonga-fire
  11. Basically what they are
  12. I know they shut down the engine their and later put fast response 201 their. And 4's which is right next door lost their light force and hazmat so doubt they moved the truck out of their. any word who else is getting new truck besides 11's?
  13. Found this picture of lax crash 80 at 114s with new lettering.
  14. I don't think they closed fire companies I know they had did away with paramedic rescues and made every engine a paramedic engine as part pilot program In order to save money. But I believe county decided it was not a beneficial program and ordered them to change back to paramedic ambulances. They also use to be all Seagrams fleet too.
  15. I would assume so especially with the new pierce trucks coming in.
  16. Looks like Both sides of the lens are red
  17. Interesting to see the red lens light bar different from the clear lens ones they been using also the front flood lights are different from ones they have been using.
  18. Nice interesting to see the green stripe I've seen them with blue strip.
  19. If you look at their website cbrne has first in response in most of southern Nevada and believe into Arizona/California. Same for their arson and hazmat.
  20. Nice rigs I was watching the walk around for them the removed the cab heaters to put radios in place. So they can have more room in room for brush and swift water rescue gear. They also have I think it was 3 or 4 discharge and removed the air horn and mechanic siren switches from floor to dash
  21. I don't think they do I know they have those huge off-road rigs. This particular rig from federal fire which provide protection for military bases. I believe penaltion has a hand crew their.
  22. That's probably federal fire. That based out of SD navy base going to boarder fire
  23. http://www.presstelegram.com/general-news/20160608/port-of-long-beach-fire-officials-unveil-worlds-most-advanced-fireboat Long beach fire has received a new boat as flagship vessel for their fleet of fireboats. It has been named the protector fireboat 20. Seems to be built very similar to la city fire boat 2. The article doesn't really give any good info and who built it or what other Interesting features it has.
  24. Only issue I heard about was the front suspension was to stiff give it harsh ride. But that was quickly fixed.
  25. Is it just me or did fire season start early this year. Seems have had unusually large amount of fires this year in early summer/ late spring.
