  1. http://www.dailynews.com/government-and-politics/20170816/after-cuts-2-of-lafds-busiest-valley-fire-stations-are-getting-significant-help
  2. Here is squad 105 with new tractor and trailer.
  3. Is this new thing? I know many dept in Utah have them.
  4. Interesting to see new engines come out with new led rear warning lights that can turned to scene lighting. Any thoughts on this? Photo by: Dave Mills photo
  5. Here's an article from vertical magizine talking about it as well. And mentions copter 10 crash as well. https://www.verticalmag.com/news/l-county-fire-acquire-new-black-hawks/
  6. Alhambra FD has taken delivery of two engines 71 & 74. I believe last new rig was smeal?
  7. Looks very new still. I would imagaine replacing one other 3 hazmat rigs that are much older first.
  8. Didn't they just get new tractor? For one of the hazmats? And new trailers?
  9. Thanks they are nice rigs. Interesting see they dont have cross lays looks like might have one I front of hard real. But hard to tell from picture with the way the rigs are angleled.
  10. Sherriff department announced it will stop chamging the decals.
  11. I believe it's at 80 ton wrecker from the looks of it. I'm surprised they would operate suck a large wrecker like that.
  12. That makes sense. oes must of changes how they supply engines I remember they would come lime green with cal oes decals. Than they have fire department decal. From the video these seamed like Lafd Ordered them with Lafd paint scheme and city seal. i must say LAFD has really brought their wild land ops up to game with new brush boots/helmets and gear. Crew-3 hand crew, cal oes rigs. I also saw some photos of Lafd crews doing some controlled burns with oes rigs at camp penelton
  13. Looks like Lafd built it for strike team assignments. They don't usually put that lettering on rigs CA-LFD. Noticed they numbered it 482-C. Interesting they went with HME. I believe cal oes ordered most of their rigs from them.
  14. Nice rig be interesting see how they make criteria for dispatching this rig.
  15. I LACOfire is primary for search and medicals on all calls and sheriff is secondary so if fire guys busy they get called. But they are better about communication and have better relationship. I know air Rescue 5 primarily works out of angles forest. Sherriff only had one response ship with hoist and paramedics. Versus fire has 6?
  16. Seems OCSD aircrews have been responding to calls with out being requested and ignoring IC's command from OCFA. http://www.ocregister.com/2017/05/05/sheriff-copters-steal-rescue-calls-from-fire-copters/
  17. Nice rig
  18. Any word on the rigs that got sent back? I see this one already had its 50 ft ladder usually they come with out ladders.
  19. Good question. I think Sacramento
  20. I didn't realize county was still ordering rear mounts. Found this new pic of quint 116 in Carson from code2high. From looks of it, 2016/2017 model got same led flood light bar as new tractors for usar and hazmat. After seeing pics of station size I see why. I would if they are ordering or order more than just one?
  21. I'm sure once the stadium is fully built and operational they will paying for extra man power to fully staff engine or maybe add a quint just like universal did. I'm sure that will be worked out.
  22. That's a pretty high hose bed if you ask me.
  23. Yes they do get dispatched to seconded alarm fires and serve as ric and as well as any rope rescues. I believe their light force gets dispatched with them some times, idk if they will get dispatched before closer usar task force.
  24. No I don't think so I believe they are to stay on property but I don't understand why la city/Beverly hills just doesn't get added automatically as part first alarm structure run for West Hollywood. Instead of having 3's or 125's
