    Oh I see.

San Jose (CA) Fire Dept is doing something similar to Sac Metro with their new Pierce Tiller trucks the Q2B siren is behind the bumper as well.

I noticed watching YT videos that Seattle (WA) FD their engines & trucks has Q2B sirens but use EQ2B sirens instead of the Motorola Spectra Electric siren. (unless its a speaker with a Q Covering they use both sirens)

Seattle only uses EQ2B siren on all newer apparatus.

One of my Nevada favorites is this 1980 International/Interpipe 250/2750 Water Tender that used to run with the Pahrump Valley Fire Rescue Service of Nye County. Ex Nevada Test Site. Retired a while back. Photo from my old 35mm archives.

    That's a Western Star not a International.

  3. ANF is staffed 8 hours a day unless red flag then staffing is extended and at times advised for 24 hour staffing. Only a few stations are staffed during the winter throughout the forest. USFS Fire Fighters are mainly wildland but.. will assist on a Structure fire if in the Forest and if the brush is threaten. Respond to TC's hikers down and medical. And work closely with neighboring depts. Staffing is 4-5 on a Engine, 2 on a Water Tender , 1 on a Patrol and 18-20 crew for the Hot Shots.

  4. Yes St73 has changed as fare as apparatus. WT 73 IS now WT 156 and the Foam and Eng park in front. P73 and Sq 73 park behind the E and FT. The Batt and Division run out of St126.

  5. Air squads have a Paramedic on board and are assigned to Air Ops. County did away with the Air Squad Identifier.  Now Copter 14 ect and LA knows who is medic copter for that day or who is Fire.
