  1. Damn.. I hate when my Capt is wrong.
  2. The man who told me about the roof and turn table would not spread rumors. LAFD has a strick and sometimes over the top requirements when it comes to the bidding. Pierce actually didnt want the bid but LAFD made a sweet deal in a long term relationship.
  3. Two are USAR tractors to go with the new USAR trailers that are at least 3 years old.
  4. All La Co squads are now heavy squads. Quint 125 responds on MVA on PCH. If closs to the Ventura Co line then Truck 30 may respond on auto aid. Forgot witch squad carry's the Jaws on PCH . 88,71 or maybe both.
  5. I found out that some of the reason's not in service are... The cab roofs where weak. When Pierce strengthen them now they leak. Also the turn table was not built to LAFD speck.
  6. None of the Pierce tillers are or have been in service.
  7. Now that the new HR is in service and the old current one is in reserve. What's happening to the old reserve?
  8. Yes the parking is the same. Old F10 was suppose to become F73. My understanding it has issues and may not return to service.
  9. I was told today that the new trucks will not be going into service anytime soon. It's a political thing. Yes, they are at Pierce. Maybe waterguy can shed some light on this. Nothing like receiving a 4 year old new truck.
  10. Yes, ST73 still operates F73.
  11. As they called it, Truck alley, to close together. Spread them out for better coverage. If you remember Q170 used to be T158. E161 will become E162.
  12. SM once had all Crowns then Seagrave. Went on to Pierce now KME.
  13. OOPS my bad. Yes they run a Tiller.
  14. 6 Eng 1 Truck 5 Stations
  15. Just as long they don't have the graphic package the new rescues have.
  16. I thought Rural Metro was going Red?
  17. Looks like Hermosa wont make a decision until Feb.
  18. My understanding is, Rosenbauer was the only manufacture to place a bid. Why two different color chevron strips on the two rigs?
  19. I mean two axle tractors.
  20. Orange County have been running two axle quints for years. Nice to see them going with a true siren.
  21. Yes, Chevrons are not required. As stated only highly recommended. If anyone has noticed...FDNY does not run them at all. Although i do see the new heavy FDNY Ambulances has them. wdho, thanks for the history on the rescues and bells.
  22. No bell either. Trying to save money?
  23. Yes
  24. Ive been told that ST143 should be operational next month. A few changes will take place. P76 will become P143. WT73 will become WT76.
  25. Thank you you my brother. We'll take it from here. Rest now as your shift is over.
