  1. Does anyone know if more will be purchased. Or is this one time only. 482C maybe st82?
  2. 22 have left the factory last week.
  3. No cross lays as they have a hose reel instead.
  4. Yes, they have one new tractor and two new trailers for hazmat. Trailers are 3 years old i believe as they are waiting for shelves. Yes shelves...
  5. Should already have it. Maybe in service by now.
  6. LaCo Fire and Long Beach purchased HR103.
  7. If it's a mechanical siren then where are the side screen and fins? Look close and you can see the box for the electronic siren.
  8. Yes there is. E55 and E255. E155 as stated received the smaller Int/KME to fit in the shed.
  9. Saw Haz Mat 150 new tractor on a flat bed heading south a week ago. Any word on USAR going into service?
  10. Firepost... Yes i was referring to HU14 in the good ole days. Old station 6 was never torn down. Still there as the paint dept for the city utilizes one bay. The museum has a few engine co also in one bay.
  11. If or when Q170 moves to 171.E170 will become a fully staffed. Only the Quint will move to 171 making 171 an E,Q,Sq station. 170 received old Q126 about a year ago or so. Gardena has there Quint now. 158 and 159 switched.
  12. USAR 88 can self dispatch if they fell the need. They respond city wide and as stated earlier a second USAR with there LF will respond. Yes TF 88 is a USAR TF s is all the TF's with USAR assigned to them. Same with SQ21 can also self dispatch as needed.
  13. Found out today that Q116 was originally to go to St162. But.. when the change was made it went to 116 and yes old Q3 to 161. Q116 is a 100 ft stick and thats how county specified the build. Also heard that Q170 may move to 171not as a light force. But that is county time we are talking about so who knows.
  14. LF 181 became LF185. Q187 still going strong as for Q51, Universal bought the Quint so it is a stay on the lot rig as is E51. They will respond off lot to Universal studio building. As stated BH E1,LAFD E41 and Culver City T2 as needed. T2 doesn't happen to often though. Just like Q110 doesn't leave Marina Del Ray very often.
  15. 187 still in a TDQ. Makes since with 161 having a longer bay. All front line Quints are in TDQ but 116. St 51 is moving ahead with modifications to the station. Q51 is at the shops.
  16. Looked on Code2High and they are showing Q161 in an older TDQ. any updates are what they are actually running as a front line rig.
  17. 162 is a rear mount. They had a TDQ as a reserve for awhile. County bought a new rear mount for St162 before they moved to St161. St 162 is to short for a TDQ as the tiller bucket sits out the rear station door. So i assume the new rear mount is at 161. There was talk about putting a TDQ at St161 and selling the new rear mount. Anyone seen Q161 since the move?
  18. They ordered two ST116 and 161.
  19. Pasadena sold there KME Quint along time ago. POS... They love Seagrave and are able to stay with them.
  20. Ok, anyone know when they are going into service? Are the new USAR trailers finished? I'M talking about that Federal Signal POS on top.
  21. Spare and reserve HR are at ST89. Unless they have been moved. There was talk at one time of adding a second HR at 89's.
  22. No, i mean the light bars are mechanically junk.
  23. USAR 88 is a fully staffed unit. The only staffed USAR in the city. As for the HR, a city of this size should have two in service on each side of the city. Unfortunately they aren't busy enough to justify a second one. Not like the old days when they had 3 in service.
  24. Too bad those light bars are junk.
  25. St56 has a much easier fwy locations. South 5 to 110 for Downtown or the Harbor. North for the valley and other districts. Task Force,USAR,RA3,RA803,B,EMS and HR3. Hope they found a hole for the guys to sleep.
