It seems a lot of the new Chevy rescues are of OS a lot, I see them using more spares then front line cars
I think they should have looked at Braun, PL Customs, Wheeled Coach, Road Rescue, Horton or Braun Northwest
on Ford F-350 or F550 heavy duty chassis or type 3's Ford Transit chassis
well maybe after Dodge/Demers
the mfg of the body has nothing to do with the chassis. You can have a great chassis and motor but the body can be a POS. Or the opposite. In the case of the Taylor Made's they had years ago, the pickup chassis and body were junk. I guess you don't work in EMS or fire?

I think this will be the 1st time they had type 1 's,
Umm no. Look back at the Taylor Made junk they had

It appears your information is inaccurate. From their Facebook page -
"Following our Special Board meeting this afternoon I am happy to let everyone know that the layoff notices for our paramedics are rescinded. Our part-time EMTs will still be laid off, this Saturday per the original notices.
There will be no reduction in services and there are still 3-4 personnel (Paid & Volunteer) on duty every day at the station.
We appreciate concerns and offers of assistance we have received as well as the updates from the AZSF personnel on the status of our grant and fire payments." -

Also RM might be buying Florence's Pierce 75ft Quint,
Florence's New Velocity/PUC/Ladder Tower is almost done and they are building
a New Station 2 on Hunt Highway (3 bay)
Maricopa's New Station 575 has the grand opening today (2 bay)
Mesa Station 221 will be going in the Eastmark Development (old GM proving grounds)
What is Mesa running as LT 220 ?
the men at Florence said they are unaware of their aerial being sold to Rural Metro Corp.

although those horrible pickup chassis are not quite like todays, maybe these Dodge chassis they are to be built on will be better.
