A RIC assignment consists of a 3-1 plus ENG, RES, U, CCU, RH Alarms Criteria: A First Alarm will be dispatched for structure fires when reports indicate this level of resource may be needed. This may be based on reports that indicate an actual or potential situation. A First Alarm may be dispatched for other types of incidents at the discretion of Dispatch personnel. I was curious on why a dt or dozer team would respond on a 2nd alarm for a commercial fire. Could somebody please explain thx

Cool thx air squad units are they assigned to the aviation department? Or just a squad that responds with the helicopter. I’m sure there has to be some additional training involved

It really depends on who is on the alert and standby the years will deploy with a rack force and will normally not take there rigs with them unless they are local usually preposition stock on semi will roll out and they crew will be in suburbans or trucks I’d lafd rolls out it’s ca tf one if lacofd rolls out it’s ca tf two az is made up of the surrounding years in the valley and there designated az tf 1

I live in northern az and don’t get much earthquakes or natural disasters up here but I’m always ready with my go bag and extra supplies I wanted to see what others recommended on having in a first aid bag or just on hand for emergencies. You can never be to prepared
