Finally!! Any word on who is getting the next rig?
-
https://galleries.ferrarafire.com/2022/In-Process-Trucks/Ferrara/2022FerraraDirectSanFranCAH-6553 Looks like there's 2 more TDAs in production at Ferrara
-
If memory serves correct, there's still a few of them: 1, 9, 20, 21, 37, 50, 74, and 94.
-
Any word on the new Squad 21?
-
I know Carlsbad has a Seagrave tiller quint on order
-
Oh cool! Is T9 still in a reserve?
-
Heard 64’s is next too.
-
Agreed! I would’ve thought Pierce would win the contract given that most of the fleet is now Pierce, but I guess money does talk lol
-
According to Fire Apparatus Magazine, LAFD will be acquiring a KME Hazmat unit. Is this replacing Squad 21?
-
Per Derotic Emergency Equipment, Long Beach will be receiving 9 Seagrave Capitol engines! Here’s to wishing that they’d get Seagrave TDAs XD
-
As part of the Urban Search and Rescue team, their engine carries more rescue gear compared to the rest of the engines
-
Also on order is a Capitol rescue engine, which I’m assuming is for Engine 6
-
Agreed!
-
Is this housed at Station 44?
-
So very happy to see "City" bacon the rigs!
-
Very true! I too would like to see companies re-established!
-
They are! I did hear about the warranty work.. hopefully it's nothing serious
-
LAFD new E51 (SN: 60873)! Also, there's 2 more engines listed on the Flickr page with the shop numbers 60874 and 60875 (assignments unknown).
-
I’m surprised they’re getting a new rig despite the fact that staffing for that rig was cut recently. I wonder if that’ll impact the order...
-
I. Second. This.
-
Pretty sure SQ95 did not have a dedicated crew.
-
Makes sense! Hopefully, departments all over can recover financially from this pandemic...
-
That looks great!
-
Per the Pierce Flickr account, there are 4 new engines destined for SDFR. I must say, they look really nice!
-
Not my photo. Saw this in a Facebook group. I thought the LAX engine was canceled?
