Posted August 6, 2018 (edited) During the final public hearing on the FY 2018-2019 Proposed Budget, the City Council unanimously approved the budget, which included Decision Package #26 “Los Angeles County Study of Redondo Beach Fire and EMS Services”. This Decision Package set aside funding for a proposal from the Los Angeles County Fire Department for the provision of Fire/Rescue/EMS and Harbor Rescue services in Redondo Beach, and appropriated $30,000 for the associated study. The Letter to Fire Chief Daryl Osby of the Los Angeles County Fire Department is the necessary first step for requesting Los Angeles County Fire Department services.
