Are the specs online somewhere? Curious if they'll differ from their interfacility rides.

Not a done deal. The city council vote on this new contract was canceled this past Monday. The contract approval appears to be in limbo for some reason.

Town of Paradise Valley recently renewed their ambulance contact with Lifeline aka PMT. I wonder if that will change or if Lifeline will keep an ambulance for the town. As most know, they cover the town with their Scottsdale system ambulances.

Come February 16th Lifeline 607 will no doubt become an unprofitable ambulance for AMR.

I was wondering are the ambulances going to be located at fire stations and if so what stations will they be located at?

I also assume that since the paramedics are employed by a private company on that they will normally be on eight hour shifts as opposed to 24 hours shifts like the fire department employees? Do you know what hours that the three "peak hour" units will be on duty? Thanks.

They will not be at fire stations, as of right now, they have one station, the rest are posting locations on corners. There also is no paramedics on the ambos, double emts.

Wow didn’t hear they were BLS rides.

BLS rides w/ ALS gear allowing Scottsdale Medics to ride in without taking their ALS gear off of the engine/ladder and keeping their trucks in service longer.

Maricopa Ambulance will be adding a location that wasn't listed in their RFP bid package. They'll have 8 stations (office space) and 5 posting locations.
