Posted July 27, 2013 This is old San Miguel OES 305 that used to belong to East County Fire then moved to Station 22 after the merger. Since San Miguel became part of Cal Fire, the department lost it's 2 OES Engines (305, 307). Lakeside has now acquired OES 305 which will be stationed at Station 26 in Blossom Valley and crossed staffed with E26. The old BME brush engine (BR26) is now at Station 1 as Brush 1 due to the arrival of the OES at Station 26. EMTBravo and Rescue51 like this
Posted August 26, 2013 Do you know much detail on the new "patrol" rig soon to go into service at 2's in Lakeside? Other interesting things in Heartland Fire & Rescue is the new El Cajon Pierce E6 was just placed into service, and I believe then new rescue-pumper (Pierce) for La Mesa (E12) should be delivered, if not already. Thx. EMTBravo likes this

Posted August 30, 2013 I talk to a friend this morning and he said there is talk of them getting it but it has not shown up as of Tuesday that he knows off. He said the only station that has room for it is 7 and that is his station.
Posted September 6, 2013 I was told today the 307 is assign to chula vista but not sure on a home yet. I was told the reason why some people did not know is because it was sent to the ram fire. It was stuff with cv ffs from station 2 and 4.
