Some nice looking TDA quints!! Wonder why they decided to go with double axel on quint instead of single. Must be because they made them quints. The tractor section is pretty long must say I don't think LA county quints are as long.

Nice looking TDA and also I notice that the truck has a Federal Q mechanical siren on it and interesting to see that Orange County is going to the Federal Q mechanical siren.

Orange County have been running two axle quints for years. Nice to see them going with a true siren.

orange county has run pierce , seagrave ,crown, van pelt ,and now runs kme and a few smeal. a first for orange county is the raised roofs on the new rigs, they started this on the last order of kme engines and are now going with it on the new engines and trucks. once all the new trucks are in service there will be no 75 foot ladders left in front line service

Truck 45's 2011 KME 75' will still be in front-line service, though possibly not at Station 45.

there are only 2 sutphen 's , at stations 9 and 34 and are usar tech trucks, I heard 45's kme is going to either 59 or 76 .

Can Truck 6 go on the same type of USAR tech calls as T9 and T34 or would they have to staff the heavy rescue?

truck 6 would most likely respond with heavy rescue  6 since you would have one or both of the tech trucks responding, depending on availability and the type of call.  I think truck 61 is also considered a medium duty rescue with additional equipment on it. also keep in mind if it is a remote canyon rescue, truck 34 can respond code  3 to fullerton airport and fly with the copters to the scene
