It's a storage garage for Police & Fire,  and they do repairs on loose equipment ,SCBA's etc...

but now most of the spare apparatus is kept in stations   Station's  252, 256, 258 have spare engines

The apparatus repair shop are at Greenfield & Queen Creek Rd's in the Town's south service center

Yep, It's one of the Kenworth/Pierce's 1 of 3 that were bought for spare rigs, that's why

they were built on commercial chassis's the other 2 spares are 1997 & 1999 Quantum's

that will be disposed of when the new engines arrive in 8 to 9 months  E252 is suppose to

be getting 1 of the new engines and their 2002 Quantum will become a spare

Do you know why Queen Creek's Quantum (the old 412) is at a Gilbert Station? Storage?

Lack of space  with R411 E411 BC411 (WT411 it was moved to 412's)  E419 (old E412)  when they are not using it , they have been storing it at 255's, When they get new station 411 built, It will have 4 Bays (1 separate Bay for the BC), they will store it there & AMR 411 will move there. Suppose to break ground in June /July & then start construction on 413's  SE corner of Queen Creek Rd & Sossaman.  In  2 years they will be getting Ladder Tower (L411) & another Impel PUC engine (E413) andl hire 13 FF's for station for 413's
