REACH Air Medical Services Announces Planned Opening of New Air Ambulance Base in Alpine

Wow, that will shave some time off compared to Mercy Air (Air Methods) responding from Gillespie Field, El Cajon.  REACH must be muscling in for the market here.  Is that Mercy Air 6 and 19 at Gillespie Airport (19's has the Children's Hospital staff).  Seems like lately I have not seen the two airships at the airport on the north side like I usually do.

 

Having a REACH airship in Alpine will save much time for Alpine area traumas/acutes to just medic rig them to the bird and ship out from there.

REACH is in the North County as well along with MA on a call fer 2 people needing airlifted to Scripps La Jolla.
